“It’s the best investment I’ve made in years.”

I began coaching with Kim last summer because I had a deep need to live with more intention and consistency, but I didn’t know how to do this in a concrete way.

Through thoughtful questions, extensive knowledge, and genuine care, she is helping me figure it out. I now have a strong foundation rooted in my values and strengths (and newfound creativity!).

Kim has a rare ability to ask the right questions at exactly the right time, and her kind, curious, and invested approach makes the coaching experience both meaningful and energizing.

It is the best investment I’ve made in years.

Chris R. | Senior Public Servant

“It was an incredibly valuable investment to my health and well-being.”

I am a mom of two little kids who recently returned to a high-profile position after maternity leave. Work wasn’t sitting well with me, but I couldn’t quite grasp what was going on. I had changed. I reached out to Kim due to the discomfort.

While working with Kim, I figured out so much about myself that I had never known before.

Almost immediately, I felt empowered to make the necessary shifts for more clarity and better work-life balance.

I enjoyed the 1:1 support and the reflexive exercises. I highly recommend working with Kim.

It was an incredibly valuable investment to my health and well-being.

Sarah D. | Healthcare Professional

“Kim helped me answer tough questions about my career”

I have long struggled with questions about how my personality, goals, strengths and habits might best fit into a career.

After my time with Kim I feel ready and excited about where I’m going in my work life.

Working with Kim has helped me to answer tough questions about my career, to understand the strengths I bring to my work, and to have the confidence to make the changes that I deeply believe will bring me happiness and balance in my life.

Kim is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to, and the insights from these sessions have already been helping in all aspects of my life.

I can’t recommend Kim highly enough!

Erin B. | In A Career Transition

“Working with Kim was incredibly eye-opening and heart-warming.”

Kim helped me to really discover who I am as a leader and helped me see that the traits I had previously identified as weaknesses are actually strengths.

I began looking at myself and others with a fresh perspective. Kim knew how to challenge me when I needed to be challenged and helped me to realize just how capable I was!

With her help, I decided to advocate for myself and took the leap into a new career.

I could have muddled through without Kim, but I am grateful that I took the leap with her!

Nicole L. | Public Service Professional

“I am very grateful to have found Kim.”

Kim has given me the strength and support I needed to navigate the challenges of looking for a new professional path.

Her thoughtful and friendly approach, filled with insightful questions, helpful feedback, and genuine empathy, has made a significant difference in my journey.

She has offered excellent guidance that has helped me explore my options, better understand my strengths, and engage in meaningful conversations about self-discovery and growth.

Her encouragement has been both grounding and inspiring, and I truly appreciate having her expertise by my side.

6 Month Partnership

Building Your Next Chapter

You’re in a demanding chapter of your life and career and want help finding a balance that works for you.

love career personal development

Over 6 months, we’ll slow things down so you can reconnect with yourself, building a way forward that fits who you are and where you want to go. We’ll explore your values, your emotions, your strengths and your sense of possibility. This sets a solid foundation to work towards a version of growth that feels meaningful and achievable.

Grounding in the Present

We’ll begin by getting clear on what you’re facing. What’s feeling uncertain or challenging right now? What’s taking up space in your head and heart? This session creates a grounded starting point by giving you the chance to say things out loud that may have been building silently for a while. You’ll:

  • Identify your current challenges
  • Recognize the emotional tone of this chapter
  • Begin to slow down and observe what’s happening without judging yourself

Your Values Are Your Inner Compass

When everything feels uncertain, your values offer a powerful way to stay centred. We’ll explore what truly matters to you…not just in theory, but in real life, with all its messiness. You’ll:

  • Identify or revisit your core values
  • Reflect on how they show up (or don’t) in your current chapter
  • Use your values to guide decisions and daily actions

Working With Your Emotions

We’ll take a closer look at the emotions coming up during this chapter like frustration, fear, confusion, even hope. Rather than pushing them aside, you’ll learn how to work with them and use them as information and fuel. You’ll:

  • Develop greater awareness of your emotions
  • Learn practical ways to respond rather than react
  • Understand what your feelings might be pointing to or calling for

Recognizing Your Strengths and Talents

We’ll focus on identifying the strengths, talents and qualities that have helped you through challenges and could play a bigger role in what comes next. Often, the things you do well can feel so natural that you don’t even see them as strengths. We’ll slow down and take a thoughtful look at where you shine. You’ll:

  • Recognize the strengths and talents you already use
  • Discover abilities you may be overlooking
  • Explore how to use these strengths more intentionally in your life and work

Exploring New Possibilities

When you’re in a demanding chapter, it’s normal to feel stuck in the same patterns. We’ll look at concrete options for what could come next, whether that’s a shift in your work, a change in your approach, or trying something new that better reflects what’s important to you. The goal is to move beyond feeling stuck and identify one or two practical steps forward. You’ll:

  • Gain clarity on what changes or steps could make a real difference
  • Identify options that fit your current situation and values
  • Choose one or two next steps you can begin working on

Moving Forward with Purpose

By now, you have a clearer understanding of your values, strengths and the personal growth you’re working toward. We’ll continue to focus on how to move forward with confidence, grounded in everything you’ve discovered about yourself. The goal is not just to set actions but to ensure that the next steps align with your growth, so you can move forward with a sense of purpose and clarity.

It’s an opportunity to move through your days with greater ease while learning more about what helps you thrive. You’ll:

  • See options you hadn’t noticed and make choices that actually fit your life and priorities.

  • Feel steadier and more confident in how you show up.
  • Have a trusted place to process before small issues turn into bigger problems.

You can say things out loud like…

  • “I can’t tell if I’m burned out or just bored.”
  • “I’ve checked all the boxes I thought would make me happy, but something’s still missing”
  • “I keep showing up for everyone else, but I don’t know what I want for myself.”
  • “Everyone thinks I’ve got it together but I’m barely keeping up.”
  • “I used to care about this work… now I’m not so sure.”

  • “I don’t know if I want to leave or just change how I’m showing up.”

Is Committing to A Year of Coaching Right For You?

You may look like you’ve got it all together on the outside while privately wondering how sustainable it really is. You keep showing up, meeting expectations and handling what comes your way, but the effort is taking a toll and you know it shouldn’t feel this hard.

We’ll talk about what’s actually happening. It won’t fix everything all at once, but it will help us figure out what’s working for you, what’s not, and from there, make decisions that make sense to you.

You might recognize yourself here if:

  • You’re the leader in the room but secretly feel like you’re winging it
  • You’re high-functioning but low-key overwhelmed
  • You’re in transition (career, company, or identity)
  • You’re tired of frivolous advice like “hack your morning routine” and want something real
  • You’ve been successful by most standards, but you’re not sure it feels like your success
  • You want to connect the dots between who you are and the work you do

It’s about putting words to what’s been simmering under the surface and finding a way forward that feels right to you.

What This Session Is

This is a single, focused coaching session designed to help you pause, take stock and explore what’s happening for you right now.

It’s for times when you need perspective rather than ongoing coaching. Our conversation will be forward-looking and practical, with the goal of leaving you with options you can act on, not just insights that stay theoretical.

What This Session Isn’t

This isn’t an ongoing coaching program, though you’re always welcome to book another session anytime you need a fresh perspective.

It’s not advice-giving. The focus is on noticing what’s happening for you and what you’re seeing, rather than being told what to do.

It’s also not just a place to vent. Once the root issue becomes clearer, the conversation shifts toward exploring your options and what could move things forward.

Who This Is For

This session is for people juggling too much, feeling pressure, or unsure which direction to take.

It’s helpful when you’re stuck in the weeds at work or in life and need to step back and see more clearly.

It’s best suited for those ready to pause, reflect and figure out their next move.

What You Can Expect to Walk Away With

By the end of the session, you can expect to have more clarity about your situation, a better understanding of what matters most to focus on right now and a clearer sense of practical options for moving forward.

Kimberly Hall las My Career Crossroads Story In 2018, after close to two decades in my previous career at a public library, I was at an uneasy crossroads. Workplace drama, politics and constant organizational change left me feeling drained and disheartened. Meanwhile, it was exhausting leading from the middle and only having time to be reactive instead of proactive in my role as a supervisor. My job was changing, too. I already knew I was capable of rising to the occasion and adapting to new situations. However, these where changes I didn't care to adapt to in large part because I was changing. My priorities were shifting and I wanted them to match my values. As well, my interests in personal development, leadership, emotional intelligence and well-being at work were expanding. Because I worked in an often chaotic environment and because I live with a chronic disease (Type 1 Diabetes), I had (and continue to have) a solid handle on managing challenges and unforeseen circumstances with a healthy, optimistic outlook. I was ready to stop holding myself back from what I really wanted to do. But, first...change brings up a whole range of emotions and feelings to work through. Change is daunting...leaving the known for the unknown. To honour the part of myself that was changing, it meant choosing to leave my job. Still, it felt like there was a lot at stake. A good pension, benefits, job security, five weeks vacation, a sense of belonging - leaving wasn't a frivolous decision. Change is exciting...a fresh start, new possibilities. Instead of shrinking from it and avoiding it, I was ready to embrace it. I created the future I envisioned by becoming a coach and helping people change their career story through personal development. A Dragonfly Appears This is the dragonfly that landed on my balcony on the day I submitted my application to the coaching program at Rhodes Wellness College in Vancouver.  On that beautiful summer evening, the dragonfly stayed all night (I couldn't resist checking). That never happened before. I took it as a sign the path I'd been quietly and intuitively growing towards for quite some time was off to a promising start. A dragonfly has appeared on three other occasions in such ways and timing that it's been hard to believe they have been just coincidences. That’s the thing about change…you never know where your inspiration will come from. However, if you’re open to it, you’ll get those little nudges from the universe from time to time to encourage you to keep going on your way. I'll ask you questions like the ones here to get to the heart of your story.
